The United States will impose a number of conditions on countries wishing to enter into an agreement with Washington to avoid duties, including increased purchases of US natural gas “ Washingtion Post reports.

"More natural gas purchases from US companies. Smaller customs duties on exports from the USA. Smaller taxes on technological giants from Silicon Valley. Promises to halt China from utilizing another countries to ship its goods to the United States. These are just a fewer of the demands that the administration (US president Donald – ed.) Trumpa is expected to express in talks with dozens of countries that effort to avoid highly advanced customs," writes the newspaper.

According to tens of people active in the negotiations, it is inactive unclear what the White home will request exactly, but the overall image has already begun to emerge.

On 2 April, Trump signed an implementing regulation imposing ‘mutual’ customs duties on imports from another countries. Their base rate is 10 percent. And for 57 countries, from 9 April, increased rates began to apply, which were calculated on the basis of the United States trade deficit with a given country – so that alternatively of the deficit there was a balance. However, on April 9, Trump announced that more than 75 countries had not taken retaliatory action and requested negotiations, so basic import duties of 10% would be in force for 90 days for all but China.

After a series of steps in the trade war, the additional US work ‘reciprocal’ on Chinese goods reached 125% and the Chinese work on US goods was besides 125%. In addition, the United States imposed a further 20% work on China on grounds of insufficient action to combat synthetic drugs.
