The number of 76,000 people appears in British relations as a benchmark for action planning. This is not the number of all British in the region, it is the first scale of notifications in the strategy in which citizens transmit their location and contact details.
The British Ministry of abroad Affairs signals that it is considering variants of routes and logistics in the event of prolonged restrictions on air traffic, including the anticipation of land-rivaling to countries from which flights to Europe would be possible.
At the same time, the UK media reports that there are hundreds of thousands of UK citizens in the region and tens of thousands in the United arabian Emirates alone. This explains why London is preparing for a mass variant and why it focuses on consular registration as a tool to kind out the scale of the problem.
Lots of messages, small "government jets"
For the moment, it is clear that any European countries focus mainly on safety messages and consular support, due to the fact that if the sky is closed, even a "special flight" has limited area for manoeuvre.
The Dutch MFA publishes current updates, instructs grounded travelers, warns against the anticipation of extending airspace closures and recommends tracking local services and carriers.
In the case of Germany and many another countries, the decisions of airlines are powerfully visible, which suspend or limit connections to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and another ports in the region. It is these movements of carriers that "freeze" the anticipation of the fast return of tourists and transit passengers, regardless of how efficient consular services work.
Poland: "We will not send aircraft". The MFA says straight why
In the Polish Communication, however, 1 conviction is crucial, which generated the top emotions. A spokesperson for the MFA, asked to send military aircraft for citizens, replied briefly, "We will not do that." Justification is just as simple. In a situation where there is inactive a hazard of attacks (missiles, drones) in the region and part of airspace is closed overnight, an evacuation flight may not be "help" but an additional threat.
– We are doing everything possible to aid our citizens on the spot. There is no way to arrange any another help. It's a substance of the full world. We're talking about thousands of people who are stuck in the region, they've had transfer flights. Our focus is on ensuring that our citizens have safety there on the place – explains the Wiedir.
The MFA clearly signals that military flights make sense only erstwhile they can be performed safely. Therefore, present the ministry focuses on what can be done immediately: information, contact with facilities and assistance in organizing an alternate trip.
At the same time, the MFA launched an additional hotline for people stuck in the region. The messages mentioned +48 22 523 88 80 and stressed that the line is intended to supply current information and support in contact with the facilities. The Ministry of abroad Affairs besides called for registration in the Odysseus strategy and following the recommendations of local services.
The readiness is, but it's not a decision about the plane, it's a decision about the conditions.
In the same case, the MON signaled that the air force was ready for possible evacuation actions if needed and formally notified. This approach does not contradict the MFA communication due to the fact that it concerns 2 levels: operational capacity and a decision that depends on the situation in the region and the availability of safe corridors.
In addition, the MFA published a list of countries with clear warnings (resuspensions). A full of 10 countries were listed: Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, United arabian Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Iran, Israel and Lebanon.
