The U.S. wants more money to defend bases in Europe

[According to Breaking Defense] (https://breakingdefense.com/2024/04/eucom-asks-for-83-million-for-air-base-defense-in-fy25-unfunded-wish-list/) the additional spending would constitute a majority in the list of priorities to be delivered to Congress. €67 million is to be invested in additional sensors to enable "detection and recognition of cruise missiles, large and tiny unmanned aerial systems, and another incoming attacks."
