The U.S. Department of defence wants more F-15EX Eagle II's?

On March 16, US media reported that as part of the budget proposals of the United States Department of defence (until 2028), the Pentagon, together with the US Air Force command, are beginning preparations for the withdrawal of more than half of the F-15E Strike Eagle multirole combat aircraft.
