The U.S. can escort tankers across Hormuz. Trump reacts to the jump in oil prices

President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he had instructed the U.S. global improvement Finance corp to supply political hazard insurance and financial guarantees for shipping transiting through the Gulf. He added that if necessary, the U.S. Navy could begin escorting tankers through the Strait of Hormuz.
