The widow's pension trap: ZUS confirms – in September 2025 many pensioners will lose part of the 14th pension

As of 1 July, ZUS pays the widow's pension, which increases the monthly income of seniors. The seniors are happy, but in September they may have an unpleasant surprise. Higher benefits can mean a lower or even lost 14th pension. We're looking into who's going to benefit and who's going to lose the extra benefit in September.
