Global fertility. Africa drives the growth of the planet population [MAPA]

In 1963, women had an average of 5.3 children in their lifetime. By 2023 this figure had fallen by more than half to 2.2. In the same period, the global population increased by about 150 percent from 3.2 billion to 8.1 billion. These are the countries that, despite the decline in global fertility, drive global population growth.
