The star of election night 2025 was a statistical error

This is not the first time that exit poll results were perfectly different from subsequent summertime poll and yet authoritative PKW. And it's not the first time that any of the staff opened champagne prematurely. Why is this survey imperfect? And why won't experts give it up?
