Police officers at the KPP in Słupcy provided information on their Facebook page about the uncovering of an American soldier who disappeared on Thursday, July 31, after leaving the military base in Powidz. Officers reported in the update that the 26-year-old had found himself 4 hours after the alert was made available about his disappearance.

Earlier, the Słupca Police territory Command informed that 26-year-old Marco – 1 of the American soldiers stationed at the military base in Powidz (Wielkopolskie Province) – had left the facility on Wednesday, July 31, around 7:00 p.m. and has not since returned to the unit.

"Carnation of darker skin, thin figure, tallness about 175 cm, short hair, black color, beer eyes, full teeth, adjacent ears. He had a tiny beard – a mustache – a missing man was described in the Facebook entry. A 26-year-old was to leave the base in a white shirt, dark trousers and sports shoes. He besides brought a sports backpack.

The news of the soldier's disappearance spread very rapidly on social media – information was made available, among others, on profiles that publicize the abrupt disappearances of people, e.g. the Lost Light of Hope.

On Saturday, August 2, KPP in Słupcy posted an update on Facebook – a soldier was found!

"All those who in any way contributed to the affirmative conclusion of the case thank you very much," the officers wrote.

There are no clear reasons for the missing military. It is known that it was found about 4 hours after the entry was made available.

There are about 10,000 American soldiers stationed in Poland. Outside of the View, where about 1,500 military from outside the ocean, The Americans are besides present in Żagań, Poznań, Redzkov and Bemów Pilski.
