A gathering on the evacuation of Poles from the mediate East is underway. It is attended by Prime Minister Donald Tusk, the head of MON Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and Radosław Sikorski. We're talking to the United arabian Emirates. We hope that about 100 aircraft will be flown out of the UAE soon," said the head of the MFA.


A coordination squad gathering on the situation in the mediate East began on Wednesday morning. As it is known, after the start of the American-Israeli attacks on Iran and the retaliation of the Iranians, respective 1000 Poles stood and were stuck in that region.

Donald Tusk first mentioned that citizens had been warned in fresh weeks not to go to that region due to the increasing conflict and the anticipation of escalation. But now any have found themselves in hard situations.

– It's done. any people made that choice due to the fact that they had no choice," he added. Referring to the evacuation operations of Poles from the most dangerous areas, he stressed that this is simply a complicated operation and is not dependent only on Polish representatives. – We will not send a plane anywhere in the world, due to the fact that first of all you should be able to land – he added.

Radosław Sikorski talked about the concrete actions already made and plans for the next.

– Our consular service in Egypt picked up 736 people, in Israel we think there are only about 30 people left, Jordan left about 800 people, only 300 last days, and in fact there are no more calls in this direction. Our consul met 9 Poles in Jordan, who were on their way to a local tour. We're talking to the United arabian Emirates. We hope that about 100 aircraft will be flown out of the UAE soon," he said.

Donald Tusk, on the another hand, appealed to Poles to inactive avoid any travelers to the mediate East. He mentioned a list of 11 countries that were subject to warnings.
