
Media Service Office informs that on the day 8 – 9 June in the Sejm In Room 412 bud. U a seminar will be held "Human rights in the digital age. Artificial intelligence and social media: an chance or a threat to young people”, organised by Polish Interparliamentary Union Group in cooperation with Interparliamentary Union.
The event will be attended by representatives of the geopolitical group 12 Plus of the Interparliamentary Union, which brings together 47 democratic European countries and selected non-European countries (such as Australia), which share common values.
The gathering besides includes representatives of NGOs dealing with the subject. The aim of the seminar is to make a platform for an in-depth debate on the challenges that the dynamic improvement of digital technologies - in peculiar artificial intelligence and social media - puts before the human rights protection system, with peculiar emphasis on the situation of children and young people.
