We invest in Polish and abroad military equipment for our army. We make and reproduce military units all over the country. We want all Polish citizen to feel safe in his country.
Record Defence Expenditure





In the face of Russian aggression against Ukraine, we know that the Polish army should be upgraded and armed. This year the Polish budget, for this purpose, is record. We allocate up to 4% of GDP to the improvement of the Polish army. In 2024, we planned 4.2% of GDP. We are among the leaders of the NATO Alliance in terms of defence spending. This would not be possible without sealing public finances. In total, in the method Modernization Plan for the years 2021-2035, we want to allocate PLN 524 billion to fresh weapons and equipment for soldiers.
37 billion is the full expenditure on the army in the last year of our predecessors. In 2024, we will allocate about PLN 155 billion to arms, to Polish troops. This is 4 times more – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
Development of the arms industry
We invest in our arms industry, in Polish factories. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the global Defence manufacture Exhibition reported that The Polish government will transfer PLN 850 million to Bumar-Łabada in Gliwice.
– For the first time, the Polish military has something to defend and will defend in the future of the Republic in an effective way," said the head of government.
In Poland we have factories producing military equipment, which is modern and meets the highest standards. We besides receive fresh orders from European countries, but besides from another continents. The most fresh acquisition of the Polish army will be the American Apache helicopters. Poland will acquisition as many as 96 specified machines with combat equipment.
We are building a Polish army
In the event of a possible attack, the Polish army must be strong. That's why we make and recreate military units all over the country. We besides recruit fresh soldiers for the Armed Forces of Poland. Over the last 8 years of our rule, the number of soldiers has risen from 95 1000 to about 175 thousand. Thanks to the right policy of our government, we make a strong army. The Polish Army is undergoing a number of exercises. Soldiers besides organize training for citizens.
– We're restoring our combat abilities. Everywhere in Poland, where necessary, we are playing military units," the Prime Minister stressed.
