The Russians are picking up another batch of artillery

This information means the continuation of supplies to the Russian Army of an older kind of artillery systems 2S19M1 Msta-S despite the ongoing production of a newer 2S19M2. In these cases, it cannot be excluded that we are actually talking about not the production from scratch of the full structure, but the repair of vehicles in the equipment reserve or towed from the front. Interestingly, on the basis of the statements issued by the defence holding company Rostiech so far, 1 can get the impression that the M1 version is much more frequently passed on to the army than the fresh M2. However, the vehicles supplied were to be further improved, including the installation of digital equipment allowing for closer cooperation with unmanned aerial reconnaissance and counter-battery radars. This is intended to translate into greater effectiveness in eliminating Ukrainian artillery, among others.
