Ukrainian forces fighting in Russia's Kursk region are not in danger of being encircled by the aggressor, assured the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, General Oleksandr Syrsky. He added that the Russians, who are supported by North Korean infantry, are suffering dense losses there. The British Ministry of Defence reported in its latest intelligence update that "the Ukrainians inactive control about 300 square kilometres of Kursk region".
