Over 2,000 years have been waiting for this moment. From 252 B.C.E., a makeshift bridge, built of barrels, boats and wooden boards, was pushed through the first Punic War. Now Sicily and the Apenin Peninsula is yet to connect the solid bridge. It will be the longest bridge hanging in the world. And it's already burning up emotions.
