The Republic of Korea and the US to increase the number of joint exercises

The defence ministers of the US and South Korea announced on Tuesday to increase the scale and scope of joint military exercises. According to the media, this is simply a reaction to the increasing threat from North Korea and an effort to strengthen assurance in Washington's allied commitments to Seoul.
