On Wednesday, in the European Parliament, there was a vote on the designation of the Shield of the East as a flagship task for the safety of the European Union. The paper passed by a majority, but not without controversy. The PiS and the Confederacy opposed the resolution and the reactions of politicians were endless. Donald Tusk accused Euro MPs of favoring Russia, while Jarosław Kaczyński called the task simply "a prison project".
