An invalid passport will make his life difficult
‘Gazeta Wyborcza’, who wrote about the case, notes that the cancellation of the passport does not bring Tomasz Szmydt's detention closer, but importantly limits his ability to travel. If the erstwhile justice fails to get a passport from the Belarusian authorities, he will be imprisoned there, and the only option of departure will stay Russia, which cooperates with the Lukashenko regime. A journey to any another country without a valid paper will be impossible.

The Mazowieckie Provincial Office refuses to supply information on this matter. However, it is clear that a decision has already been made.
