President Karol Nawrocki signed a bill to introduce a zero PIT for families with at least 2 children. It will be essential to fit into a circumstantial income range, with fresh developments in this area. The taxation thresholds will change.

PIT 0 for families with at least 2 children. The president has already signed the bill
As we learn from the announcement of the President's Chancellery, on Monday 11 August 2025 2 presidential legislative initiatives, "PIT Zero. household on the plus" and "Protection of the Polish village" were sent to the Sejm. The first was signed on Friday (8 August) in Kolbuszowa, and the second on Saturday (9 August) in Krąpiela. Let us remind you that the zero PIT for families 2+2 will be available for families where:

there are at least 2 children under the age of 18 or 25 if adult children proceed to survey and do not gain their own income;
The yearly income does not exceed PLN 280 thousand, or PLN 140 1000 per spouse.

The second point refers to another change included in the President's draft, i.e. raising the maximum amount of the first taxation threshold to PLN 140 1000 (from the current PLN 120 thousand). According to preliminary estimates, the fresh savings taxation allowance may be equal to or even greater than 800 plus.
It is estimated that the average Polish household can stay on average PLN 1000 per month

During his speech in Kolbuszowa, president Nawrocka stated that financing of the programme he proposed should not be a problem.

- Nawrocki emphasized. In practice, backing is to be possible, inter alia, by sealing the proceeds to the state budget, in peculiar in the field of VAT and CIT. At the same time, the president drew attention to the demographic crisis in Poland.
Therefore, I will consistently repeat that Polish families can number on the support of the Polish President, and the release from the PIT of parents of 2 and more children is not only my promise, but besides my work towards the continuation of Poland and the independency of the Polish state
- assured president Nawrocki. PIT 0 for families with at least 2 children is due to start to apply as early as next year and will cover income generated from 1 January 2026.
