... The public was shocked by 2 informations. The first – incredibly painful – about the death of our soldier, who was badly wounded on the Polish-Belarusian border by attackers from the another side of the border. Unfortunately, as a consequence of the injuries suffered, the soldier died as a consequence of the wounds he suffered... The second event besides reflects political echoes – but most likely in the future besides further and more legal – until now all the time. This is the situation which took place on the Polish border and concerns actions carried out by Polish soldiers and how these soldiers were treated by the Military Żandarmarmery. Not only that they were detained, but above all that they were treated as common bandits, they were immediately handcuffed...
That is why I decided to convene the National safety Council on Monday to discuss these issues with representatives of all parties to the political scene, due to the fact that for the second time, what I would like to emphasise: for the second time; for it was not accepted and was discounted in connection with the interruption of the word of office – there is simply a complex presidential task solving these issues. This is the Act on the activities of the state authorities in the event of a threat to national safety (...). I'm counting on it to be passed as shortly as possible.
Mr. Prime Minister Tusk announced present that he would cancel Deputy lawyer General, Mr. Janek. The President's Chancellery was addressed to a corresponding letter from the Prime Minister on this issue, along with a request from Minister Bodnar. But I did not know – unfortunately – that 2 months ago there were events that caused not only specified a violent action of the Military Gendarmerie against Polish soldiers (...). No 1 told the president of the Republic or me personally.
I have a fundamental question, I asked it yesterday: why? Why was the Polish military chief not informed about specified an crucial matter, concerning the actions of Polish soldiers in the safety sphere of the Republic, concerning the Polish uniform? (...).
It turns out at the same time – ladies and gentlemen – that Mr. lawyer Janeczek, Deputy lawyer General, was deprived of his competence to the military prosecutor on 12 April 2024. Who did this? Nominat of Prime Minister Donald Tusk – Mr.National Prosecutor Dariusz Korneluk, appointed in violation of the laws in force, with violation of the provisions of the Act (...).
In view of the above, ladies and gentlemen, I anticipate clarification on this issue. due to the fact that the cancellation of Mr. Janek requires the approval of the president of the Republic. If the President's consent is to be given, it must be a decision that is justified. present – in my opinion – the justification for the decision to dismiss this peculiar authoritative of the Polish state, this prosecutor in this case is completely lacking. I want to emphasise that with all my power.
I ask the Prime Minister again: how did the president of the Republic, head of the armed forces, not be informed of specified an event for more than 2 months? How did I learn about specified an event in fact from the media?
