The organizer and coordinator of the Club is col. Zygmunt Przetakiewicz jr, and the inaugural gathering took place in the area of the Jubilee buying House. The area was bursting in the stitches and there were no seats.
Jan Engelgard „Myśl Polska”, Dr. Mateusz Piskorski „Myśl Polska”, Dr. Lucyna Kulińska, Sebastian Pitoń (Polish Antiwar Movement), attended the Krakow gathering as speakers. The area was besides attended by prof. Anna Rażny, Dr Włodzimierz Gorki, B. Stanislaw Pope and Marek Kotlinowski, B. talker of the Sejm and justice of the Constitutional Court at rest. The gathering was attended by representatives of the Polish thought Club in Katowice and the recently established Clubs in Rzeszów and Wroclaw.
Jan Engelgard recalled the past of “Polish Thought”. In his paper he emphasized that the magazine was always open to another ideological currents, and his mission was and is to formulate a political thought consistent with the interests of the Polish people. This is especially crucial now that political elites put the interests of our nation and of the state above the interests of others. Dr. Mateusz Piskorski pointed out 4 major threats to the Polish people, which he called the “Ridingmen of the Apocalypse”. He emphasized how narrow the margin of freedom under the Law and Justice. Dr. Lucyna Kulińska spoke in a very lively speech about the dangers associated with uncontrolled emigration from Ukraine. 1 of the leaders of the Polish Anti-War Movement Sebastian Pitoń spoke about economical issues and the risks involved.
In the course of the discussion, the well-regarded Prof. Anna Raźny besides spoke, who spoke loudly what many of us thought, and could not formulate it or had no courage. Among another things, she spoke to whom she served and what the ubiquitous intent of rusophobia was. She emphasized what she is and what the modern enslavement of man is like. According to the professor, the average Pole became individual who could be described as homo transatlanticus. In bitter words, she spoke of the condition of modern Catholicism and hierarchs, who became propagandists of the fresh strategy and supporters of war.
Among many crucial voices was besides Dr. Włodzimierz Gorki, about censorship. He said, among another things, that the formation from which the Polish Left Movement originates in his resolution demands the immediate cessation of censorship of “Polish Thought” by services in our country.
I am very happy with many meetings with wonderful people who make the environment of Polish Thought: Nikola Šmukler-Matasov, Aleksandra Łagowska, Ryszard Płatki, Michał Grod, Kamil Klimczak, Rafał Mossakowski, Michał Wirtel, Olaf Swolken, Mieszko Pasierbek and many others.
