"Please do not exploit this tragedy for political gain," said Deputy Inspector Andrzej Fijołek, spokesperson for the Chief of Police. This was in consequence to remarks by Marcin Możdżonek, a Konfederacja council associate from Olsztyn, who stated that the death of a police officer in Kraśnik was due to serious staffing shortages.
