PiS politicians could not lay a wreath in front of the monument of Lech Kaczyński during the Smolensk monthly. After the police intervention, Jarosław Kaczyński sharply criticized the actions of the officers, and his words provoked a reaction from the government, the police and the Civic Coalition.
