Pentagon announced the senator's demotion for "inciting rebellion"

A procedure was initiated to deprive politician Senator Mark Kelly of his rank as captain and part of his military retirement for "inciting rebellion" appeal to soldiers to ignore illegal orders - announced Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth. The U.S. Secretary of defence had previously threatened to bring Kelly to court.
