During the calculation of the pension, ZUS may not take into account any of the periods for which contributions were paid. The reason may be deficiency of documents, oversight, but besides a simple formal error. However, this does not mean that specified contribution years are lost forever. The insured individual may apply for inclusion and consequently receive a higher benefit.
