The president of the NBP will receive a raise, and hearings on him continue

The money.pl portal noted that the monthly wage of the president of the National Bank of Poland consists of 2 elements. The first is the salary, which includes the basic salary, the functional allowance and the yearly allowance. The second ingredient is the monthly bonus, which corresponds to the salary.

The fresh resolution increases the bonus for NBP president from 100% to 130 percent. Thus, the full wage of the president of NBP increases from 200 percent of the wage to 230 percent, which means that it will increase effectively by 15 percent. He analyzed the portal.

The president is besides entitled to additional awards, which are awarded for “specific engagement in the implementation of tasks under the Act on NBP”. The value of these prizes increases and represents a multiple of the monthly remuneration, which is calculated as an equivalent for vacation leave.

In practice, this means that Adam Glapiński has received 12 monthly salaries so far, including a bonus, and additionally accepted another 15 in prizes, which gives a full of 27 monthly salaries. The portal pointed out that according to NIK data, the remuneration of the president of NBP for last year amounted to PLN 283.8 thousand, and besides received the equivalent of the same amount in bonuses, which totals PLN 566.6 thousand.
