Ministry of Digital Affairs Launches a fresh squad of experts to make a support strategy for the global expansion of the Polish ICT sector. The initiative responds to the increasing importance of the industry, which, according to various estimates, generates about 8% of Polish GDP and is simply a key pillar of the export of services, as well as to the diagnosed barriers preventing companies from effectively entering global markets.
The recently established Support squad of the Polish ICT sector is to make a system-based aid model for national technology companies. The recruitment, which will last until 18 August 2025, is open to representatives of business, science, administration and NGOs who will act on a pro bono basis. The main nonsubjective of the work is to analyse the current situation of the manufacture in depth, identify key challenges and specify priorities. These actions are intended to lead to a long-term strategy, including economical diplomacy and the construction of a coherent brand “Polish Tech”. This is to aid Polish companies, which frequently face limited global designation and strong competition.
Team candidates will be selected on the basis of method cognition and applicable experience in the field of ICT and internationalisation. In the case of companies, the ministry will take into account the criterion of at least 30% of Polish capital, export possible and active activity in Poland.
The initiative gives manufacture representatives the chance to straight influence state policy-making in a key area. However, the effectiveness of the task will depend not only on the quality of the recommendations developed, but above all on their subsequent, consistent implementation by government agencies.
