Most French for returning to military service. There's a fresh poll

Politico: Macron excludes return to compulsory military service

According to the Politico portal, in a fresh conversation with French media French president Emmanuel Macron announced that "in the coming weeks" a improvement of the alleged universal national service, or voluntary service to persons aged 15 to 17, which includes sports activities, civic education and work in a state or non-governmental organisation.

The changes are intended to meet the needs of the people and priorities outlined by the authorities in Paris. However, the French president ruled out the return of compulsory military service.
