The deadline for submitting candidates for this year's presidential election was Friday at 4 p.m. In order to run, candidates had to submit at least 100,000 signatures supporting their candidacy to the National Electoral Commission headquarters. 17 candidates succeeded. According to information published on the website of the National Electoral Commission, 17 candidates have registered to compete for the office of president. Here is the list in alphabetical order: The presidential election in Poland will be held on May 18, erstwhile citizens will be able to cast their votes for candidates moving for the office of head of state. If no of the candidates receives the required number of votes, a second circular of elections will be scheduled for June 1. The second circular will affect the 2 candidates who received the most votes in the first round.
