President Andrzej Duda will not sign the law on "Silesian language" – According to unofficial reports of the Western diary from sources akin to the President's Chancellery.

The Members of Law and Justice were powerfully opposed to this bill in the Sejm. The exceptions were only any PiS parliamentarians from Silesia. The bill was supported, among others, by MP Marek Merry, who claimed that it was weak, but supports it as a Silesian.
