16 hours lasted the last training ground firing of Mi-24W helicopters of the armed forces of the Czech Republic. During the day and night activities, more than 1,400 barreled weapon rounds and 239 non-guided 80mm S-8 rockets were fired. In August it will mark 45 years of Mi-24 service in the Czech armed forces. This will besides be their last year, as deliveries of AH-1Z Viper and UH-1Y Venom machines to replace them begin. Czech Mi-24s go systematically to Ukraine.
