What should be the goal of education?
The apparent answer is that the goal should be to prepare the Young Man for work in 10, 15, or even 20 years.
So it is good to imagine what professions will be needed in these decades?
Regular bankers, programmers, doctors, drivers, vendors, workers, we don't think we'll request them to replace their robots and artificial intelligence.
We will be extraordinary doctors and programmers. What do I mean by "unordinary"? any who can come up with things AI can't. For example, there will be a request for quantum computer developers that work completely different than average ones.
We will besides request plumbers, electricians, etc., because, for example, to repair the installation in a single-family home will not pay to rent a robot. But it's more the margin of education, due to the fact that plumbing can be learned in a month.
I do not request to add that the modern school prepares the Children for life not in 2040, but alternatively in 1960.
The second goal of education, which does not appear in the media, is this:
The intent of education should be that students love their world.
To love Nature, or another people, animals, vegetation, rivers, seas, mountains, but besides the material planet we create. Happy people are people who love art, science, technology. Happy people won't vote for brown guys who want to kick the crap out of others.
Only 1 who loves the planet can learn to love the world. How many of the present Teachers love the world? I have serious concerns that a tiny percentage.
Why aren't we discussing this? Why do we let teachers to be completely unsuited?
