In the Defence24 SCANNER program, Tom Lalberty, president, Land Warfare & Air Defense, Raytheon Missiles and defence talks about the implementation of the Wisla air defence program. He emphasizes that the process of “System Integration and Checkout”, i.e. combining elements of the Vistula River built in Poland and in the USA, will begin soon, in October. At the same time, he points out that the agenda for the second phase, assuming the start of deliveries from 2026, is ambitious but real. The SCANNER Defence24 program besides refers to the capabilities of the LTAMDS radar, intended for usage in the second phase of the Vistula, and SkyCeptor and SkyHunter missiles, offered to Poland by Raytheon Missiles and defence in air defence programs.
