On Wednesday, Karol Nawrocki was officially declared president of the elect. During the ceremony at the Royal Castle, he received a resolution from the State Election Commission confirming his choice for the highest office in the state. After the event ended and the guests left the building, however, there was an incident.


After the ceremony, Ryszard Kalisz left the building, where a crowd of supporters of Karol Nawrocki gathered.

Let us remind: Karol Nawrocki received a resolution from the State Election Commission on Wednesday confirming his election as president of the Republic of Poland.

The State Election Commission on 2 June counted all votes cast in the presidential elections in Poland. The winner of the presidential election was Karol Nawrocki. He defeated Rafał Trzaskowski with little than 400,000 votes.

Such were the precise results of the 2025 presidential election:

Karol Nawrocki received 10,606,628 votes, or 50,89 percent.

Rafał Trzaskowski received 10 237 177 votes, or 49.11 percent.

Nawrocki will be officially president on August 6.
