Preparations for the start of the fresh academic year began in full steam. On Monday, the Aviation Walls of the Military Academy visited Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and reported on the changes that will take place at military universities. They are intended to cover training of Apache helicopters pilots, as well as subjects who would like to change their course of study.

Military Academy of Aviation is the only facility in Poland where future personnel are trained for the needs of air forces. Only this year six candidates applied for 1 seat at the military college. “This is simply a brand of Polish air forces, a brand of aviation, different and recognizable around the world”, said Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, who met with university authorities on Monday and the 4th School Aviation Wing.

During his visit to Dęblin, the head of the MON informed about changes to be made to education in LAW. It's about the preparation of personnel, pilots, as well as ground handling of Apache helicopters. In August, a contact was signed under which Poland will get 96 specified machines. – We request to reduce training time and prepare the staff accordingly. The Americans are able to implement training on Apache helicopters for enlisted officers. We besides want to implement this in Poland – said Deputy Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz. However, he pointed out that the full process "must take place with advanced safety standards and conditions". – We are faced with a large challenge regarding the admission of various types of fresh helicopters to the Armed Forces of Poland. Therefore, we request to train young people who will operate these machines," he stressed. The fresh training process would start next academic year 2025–2026.
