According to Kosiniak-Kamysz, the economical Forum gives a “good impetus for development” and is simply a place for everyone. - Everyone has the right to talk here and present their views. Poland is simply a large country where there is simply a place for different sensitivities and for different views on the economy of social affairs and security," he stressed.
He stressed that in the current situation safety is the most crucial for him, as evidenced by the policy of the Ministry of Defence and the scale of defence spending. "This is 4.7% of GDP per year, the most of NATO countries," Kosiniak-Kamish said. "We accepted this last week at the Council of Ministers and decided that defence becomes number one," Kosiniak-Kamish said.
The economical Forum has been held since 1992 an global gathering of representatives of politics, economy and 3rd sector of the countries of Central and east Europe. The thought behind the event is Zygmunt Berdychowski, and the Foundation Institute for east Studies is the organizer.
This year, in the category Company of the Year 2024, the award was awarded to Budimex, and in the category of non-governmental organization - the Foundation for the improvement of Cardiac Surgery named after Prof. religion in Zabrze. prof.
