European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen reacted to the result of the presidential elections in Poland. In her entry she emphasized the importance of cooperation with Warsaw and the community of values that unites the European Union.


"Congratulations to Karol Nawrocki. I am convinced that the European Union will proceed to cooperate very well with Poland" – she wrote on Monday on the site of X Ursula von der Leyen.

"We are stronger together as a community of peace, democracy and common values. Therefore, let us work together for the safety and well-being of our common home" - stressed the EC head.



On Monday morning, PKW president confirmed that the election was won by Karol Nawrocki, winning 50.89 percent of the vote. “Charles Tadeusz Nawrocki was elected president of Poland,” said Sylwester Marciniak.

– Election protests may be submitted after the publication of the PKW announcement within 14 days. The ultimate Court should recognise a resolution on the validity or nullity of the elections up to 30 days, i.e. by 1 July," explained the president of the Polish Parliament.

Congratulations to Duda for Nawrocki


The outgoing president besides congratulated Nawrock. "Mr President-Elect Dr. Charles Nawrock one more time congratulates on the election victory. It was a difficult, sometimes painful, but highly brave fight for Poland, about how matters of our Homeland should be conducted. Thank you for this heroic fight until the last minute of the campaign! Thank you for winning the Lord, household and Associates! Bravo!" wrote Andrzej Duda.

"I besides thank all Candidates in this election, in peculiar Mr Rafał Trzaskowski. Thank you for your determination to fight for the presidency. Thank you for being willing to take work for Poland" - he pointed out. "The Homeland is our common large Cause!" he concluded.
