Gripens are to be ready to fight in little than 10 minutes. The Swedes are preparing for war on Russia

The Swedish Air Force wants to shorten the time to prepare fighters for the next combat flight to little than 10 minutes. It is part of the further improvement of the celebrated concept of distributed air fleet base, which is intended to increase the chances of aircraft survival. Scandinavian military officials point out that Russia is getting better and better at detecting and attacking Ukrainian machines on landing sites – so they like to prepare for the worst.
