The announcement that the Israeli authorities would be allowed to participate in the commemorations of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz was perceived as granting immunity to Benjamin Netanyahu. However, utilizing a pro-state explanation of the resolution, it can be considered that this is not an announcement of a breach of global law.
