Government fakes the fight against illegal immigration

Poland has been the victim of an immigration crisis for years. The immigrants who stormed the Polish-Belarusian border were joined by immigrants who were dropped to Poland from Germany. The government, alternatively of strictly fighting for the safety of Poland, simply fakes actions. Krzysztof Bosak and Michał Połuboczek took the level on behalf of the Confederate Deputy Marshal of the Polish Parliament at a press conference in the Sejm.

Krzysztof Bosak noted that the government had decided not to accept asylum applications made by immigrants on the border with Belarus, he judged this action to be fake, due to the fact that operating only on the state border, which is defined as the space over the border line itself. Through this approach, asylum applications submitted after crossing the border line can already be dealt with in the erstwhile way – the border road lane and the border region are not covered by the Regulation on the rejection of asylum applications.

The Confederation, on the another hand, calls for "to suspend the right to apply for asylum applications for anyone who has crossed our border illegally", Bosak said.

Deputy talker of the Sejm stressed that the crisis on the border with Belarus is increasing. "The government is trying to represent itself as more effective than the erstwhile one. Reality rapidly verifies. Since the beginning of the year, Polish services have thwarted almost 3400 attempts to illegally cross the border, and only in the last days of March as many as 620 attempts," the leader of the Confederation pointed out, recognising that the government's actions are due to run calculations.

Krzysztof Bosak besides recalled that "we have a situation where Germany returns illegal immigrants to us all the time". He explained that Poland did not receive any documentation from the Germans confirming that the returned immigrants were actually detained at the border. Poland applies the rule of trust in the German side, without going into the actual state of affairs.

The Deputy Marshal of the Sejm pointed out akin situations between Germany and Italy and Denmark, in which no country applies the common rule of trust, but it firmly defends its interests and blocks the entry of immigrants.

Krzysztof Bosak stressed that Poland should make Germany and the European Union aware of the burden it bears on protecting the external border of the European Union and at least anticipate financial support.

The Confederate Leader pointed out that the government was manipulating immigration data, boasting a decline in the number of full and simplified readmissions from Germany, but is not telling the drastically expanding number of border turns. Bosak besides called on Polish authorities to check more closely the immigrants whom Germany is dumping Poland.

Mr Połuboczek pointed out the fresh events in Czeremsz where immigrants threw stones at Polish officers. The situation was dangerous and could have ended tragically, at the same time the officers are actually susceptible to specified threats. "Current regulations do not let officers to usage weapons or means of coercion fully. The rules are unclear and soldiers and officers do not know erstwhile they can usage this weapon and means of coercion, they are afraid of consequences," said Połuboczek.

The MP recalled the threats from the European Commission to Poland, to be punished for not applying the provisions of the Migration Pact. These words contrast with the announcement of Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who claimed that Poland would not apply the provisions of this pact. The Confederate MP estimated that the government would bow to the force of the Eurocrats.

Michał Połuboczek besides emphasized the fact that Poles argue the creation of Centres for Integration of Foreigners and organize and submit petitions to local authorities. He assured the support of the substance by the Members and Confederates. He pointed out that the presence of the Centre for the Integration of Foreigners would reduce the investment attractiveness of the area, lead to a decrease in property prices and a decrease in safety levels.

Mr Połuboczek besides raised the policy subject of Minister Adam Bodnar, who would hit soldiers and officers guarding the border. The Confederation calls for the suspension of the right to asylum to be extended to the full of Poland and the introduction of rules that will enable soldiers and officers to usage arms in defence of the border.
