Not long ago, the Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk assured that there were no changes in the 800 plus service. However, as the RMF FM has unofficially established, the Ministry of Interior and Administration is to work on the amendment.
— These are very crucial regulations that affect millions of people. Therefore, if this is to take a fewer days longer, let the ministers who are working on these rules decide on this matter. The government will shortly be working on these changes," said Prime Minister Jan Grabiec, quoted by RMF FM.
800 plus. Trzaskowski wants a change
The amendment of the 800 plus bill is requested by the Citizen Coalition candidate for president Rafał Trzaskowski. The president of Warsaw would like the benefit to be paid only to those Ukrainian citizens who live and pay taxes in Poland.
Trzaskovsky's thought is not supported by the Citizens' Platform coalitions. Representatives of Poland 2050 and the Left convince that they will not accept the proposed solutions. In their opinion, there are adequate provisions that come into force this year, according to which 800 plus will be given only to refugees whose children learn in Polish schools.
