Colombia was the first to bow under the force of Donald Trump and agreed to accept deportees from the US, after threatening to impose advanced tariffs and visa sanctions. Following the first hard stance of president Gustavo Petra, who refused to accept the deportees, the Colombian government changed its position, avoiding the threat of a trade war with America.
