The Court of Appeal in Warsaw acquitted Tomasz Arabski and 2 another officials from charges related to the organisation of the flight to Smolensk in 2010. The conviction is final.
After many years, the fact prevailed. It was not the arabian Minister who arranged the tragic flight, but the Chancellery of the president of the Republic of Poland and the 36th peculiar Transport Aviation Regiment that was no longer in existence today. "Too low, besides fast, besides late" – they went besides low, flew besides fast, tried besides late to choice up a plane and save people on board. These findings of George Miller's committee are unequivocal and objective. The bombing, the explosion, the betrayal, is easier to shout about the conspiracy than to admit that the people and institutions liable for preparing this memorable flight failed. With reason and regulations, she won the shoe, arrogance and ignorance.
This is what happens erstwhile politics becomes more crucial than the safety of the state and its citizens. This flight should not take place at all: in the agenda of celebrations of the anniversary of the Katyn crime, he was pushed by force, only for electoral-propagand needs. Counting for re-election Lech Kaczyński did not want to let for a situation where he paid tribute to the fallen officers to Prime Minister Tusk, and his, "first patriot", was not expected to be there. In order to fulfill his desire, all rules for organising specified trips were rejected – adverse weather information was ignored, the crew was completed at random, did not have adequate privileges to fly this kind of aircraft, made gross mistakes during the flight and was under force from people who were not allowed to enter the pilot's compartment during the journey. Under these circumstances, the crew undertook an impossible task. The people on this plane were divided into those who could do anything and those who couldn't do anything. Those are the ones who may have prepared everything for another people this tragic fate.
