In times of global turbulence and the disappearance of cohesion, the question of whether Europe will defend itself is absolutely legitimate. We present to you a study which will effort to answer this question, how to present the latest political trends, arms and defence backing programmes, the possible of the armies of the European NATO States and identify gaps in possible and capacity. The study by the Institute of fresh Europe will aid clarify the way Europe is going, and recommendations will be made on what action to take. We hope that reading the study will be peculiarly useful for policy makers and those working in the implementation of safety and defence policies.
