The European Union as an economical alliance yes, but no longer as a military alliance - so briefly it is possible to specify Russia's latest position on the reinforcement plans announced by the European Commission. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitri Pieskov, as quoted in the Politico portal, stated that EU defence plans are a threat to Moscow, informing that Russia will take retaliatory measures.
