The end of the "paradise for spies". Vienna will yet close the "Eldorado" for abroad intelligence?

The Austrian Ministry of Justice has drafted the Espionage Criminal Law 2026. It is intended to grow the criminalization of espionage to include not only actions targeting Austria directly, but besides operations conducted against global organizations operating on its territory. Why is the bill more than a simple amendment?
