Ukraine desperately needs resources for war. Meanwhile, there is an impasse in the European Union around the usage of frozen Russian assets worth EUR 140 billion to finance a reparation debt for Kiev. On Friday, representatives of the European Commission will meet one more time with the Belgian authorities, whose agreement on this issue is crucial. They have already prepared an "unrejectable proposal".
