The largest platforms are to pay higher taxes in Poland and bear greater work for what happens within the scope of the services they provide. Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski announced in an interview with
CyberDefence24.pl a further offensive against large Tech: from a digital taxation to the work to respond to illegal content. The problem is that the direction of these changes is sparking a political dispute, both within the government and with the Presidential Palace, which—according to the Minister of Digital Affairs—is succumbing to lobbyists.
