French Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu resigned on Monday. He was first appointed head of government on September 9. He is the shortest ruling Prime Minister in the past of the V Republic, or since 1958. However, on Friday, after talking to organization leaders, Macron decided to re-point Lecorn.
The AFP agency stated, citing co-workers of the President, that the head of state gives Lecornu carte blanche (i.e. freedom of action).
Quoted by Reuter Lecorn, he assured that his precedence was to improve public finances. He besides assured that he intended to "end the political crisis in France".
