"Cremation crisis" in Norway continues. Nevertheless, the state does not want private facilities

In the face of the increasing request for cremation in Norway, the private company Sjond AS met with a refusal from the authorities to make fresh crematoria. Her representative, Per Firing, claims that the decision is incompatible with Norwegian law. The Ministry rejected 9 applications from private companies, citing existing regulations. At the same time, work on a fresh law on crematoria was announced.
